My name is M.Tip Phaovibul. I was born in Texas but grew up in Thailand.
I have a wide range of interests in area mathematics, but mostly in number theory. The majority of my work is lies in the fields of Analytic, Probabilistic, and Elementary Number Theory, especially in properties of the Riemann Zeta function and L-Functions.
I am very passionate about math contests. I help organize the training session for University of Illinois Putnam Team. I also serve as a committee members in the Undergraduate Contest Committee at University of Illinois. I am also the co-founder and head coach of the Champaign-Urbana ARML and Math Circle.
Beside Mathematics, I love to play with puzzles and European board games. When I have time, I like to go running, biking, hiking, kayaking, and camping.
